Obamafy Yourself Hot

As Americans exist in a world that isn't just at the whim of our needs, but also our wants, a world of not just enough, but a world of abundance. Here we begin to seek significance, to sift through the "abundance" in order to make meaning.  In this search art and wonder have taken their places as commodities to meet the need for significance.  Art has begun to seep into arenas that previously were reserved for facts and policies and number crunching.  You might not know Shepard Fairey, but you know his work.  Fairey is the street artist who created the red and blue shaded Obama "Hope" poster.  Fairey also didn't charge the Obama campaign anything for the creation.  In what Obama represents, significance and meaning have been attached to a photoshop shading plugin.  And now it's your turn...

Well, that is if you have a mac... the plugin isn't available for PC.  Simply go to this link and you can install the plugin that works in photoboth.  Enjoy the art, significance, politics and history of it... or just screw around with it... how you use and apply significance is up to you after all.

Epilogue:  While I have greatly enjoyed Obamafying myself, as a man who suffers the wrath of male pattern baldness I am still waiting for the plugin that will allow me to Blagojevich-ify myself.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
